Frequently Asked Questions
We have access to internet sites, qualified people and information to optimise the valuation and marketing of your business, and the skills to manage the sale process. This allows you the time to keep working within your business, maintaining or increasing its value.
Depending on the scale of your business, most standard internet advertising, plus email & direct mail database marketing is free. Preparatory work or business valuation, if you agree, is charged separately and a commission is charged only upon the sale of your business.
We are in touch with what is happening in the market internationally and will be able to advise you when conditions are favourable for your sector for both your business type and location. Buyers like to be able to see a potential for growth in the future above all and you must, of course, be ready and willing to sell.
We have access to statistics and historical figures for most types of businesses and the length of time they were on the market in various countries.
If you are running your business to the best of your abilities, then your business is ready for sale. There is a range of information and documentation required during the valuation, marketing and sale process, but these should be the same documents you use to manage your business. Before you spend money on preparing your business for sale, talk to us.
To maintain confidentiality during the marketing phase, we use generic images, not real photos of your business and omit both your business address and name. This is particularly important in smaller locations. Additionally, any prospective buyer receives information only upon signature of a confidentiality agreement.
